Weaver- Funeral services for Mrs. Roxie Howard, 90, of Weaver, will be Friday, February 1, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Brinkman officiating with burial at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends Thursday January 31, 2013, from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs Howard passed away January 26, 2013 at Gadsden RMC. Mrs. Howard is survived by her sons Allen (Diane) Howard, Richard (Karen) Wynn, sisters; Nellie Akers and Willobea Rooker; brothers, Marvin Lawson, Grady Lawson, Johnny Lawson and Clarence Lawson, thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Howard is preceded in death by her husband Charles Howard; sons Warren Clay, Stanley Lawrence and Gary Eugene, sister Florence Gradie; brothers Walter, Lester Raymond and Sterling Lawson. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Mrs. Howard was a native of Harrison County Kentucky and a long time resident of Weaver where she was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church of Weaver. Chapel Hill Funeral Home will be servicing the Howard Family
