On March 16, 2007 Angel Reed was born to Tarielle (LaVette) Walls and her father, Michael Reed all of Zion, IL. She was the last of four children. She departed this life on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at Evanston Hospital.
Angel leaves to cherish her memories: a loving mother, Tarielle LaVette Walls; father, Michael Reed; two sisters: Jah'shanay, Princess Reed; one brother: Michael Reed Jr. all of Zion, IL; grandparents: Wanda Gooden, Willie Walls Jr. of Waukegan, Lou Reed of Zion; great-grandparents Elatrice Walls of Waukegan, Delores Gooden of Union City, GA, Ruthie Reed of Newport, AR, Willie Gooden Sr. of Greenville, MS; ten aunts: Monique Walls, Deloris King, Latisha, Alisha, Tamisha Fain and Veronica Wright all of Waukegan; Lakesha Reed of Zion; Demetrice Bauer, Shaugrecka Webb, Lakasha Patterson all of North Chicago; four uncles Willie Walls III, Lee Webb of Waukegan; Marcus Reed of Zion; Marco Walls of Chicago; as well as a host of cousins and friends.
Angel was preceded in death by her aunt: Domonique Walls; great aunts: Varna Mae Reed and Sphronia Gooden-Jones; grandfather: Lee Webb Sr.; great grandparents: Robert Lee Reed, Willie Walls Sr., Walter and Geneva Webb.
The Funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 4 with the wake at 10:30 a.m. followed by the funeral at 11:00 a.m. at Penecostal Ministries, 3244 Gilead St., Zion, IL. Interment will be held at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park in Zion. Arrangements were entrusted to WESTGATE Funeral Home.
