Marilyn Louise Judd, 75, of Vallejo passed away Wednesday, at her daughter Valorie's home in Fairfield, following a long battle with breast cancer.
Marilyn was born to Jess and Zelma Johnson on June 19, 1938 in Oroville, CA. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and attended Brigham Young University where she majored in art.
She married Karl LeRoy Judd in 1961 and they had three children.
Throughout her life, Marilyn was dedicated to the Church and served in many capacities. However, she felt her most important work was being a homemaker and teaching others of Jesus Christ's life and importance of His atonement.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Karl LeRoy Judd; daughters, Valorie (Douglas) Dahlin and Teresa (Conrad) Holbrook; son, Victor (Christine) Judd; brother, Gerald (Margaret) Johnson; 10 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. and funeral services begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 17 at the LDS Church, 110 Los Santos Ct., Vallejo with Bishop Kurt Conners officiating. Private burial will be held at Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery in Dixon.
The family would like to thank all those who served Marilyn as she lived life with cancer.
