She was born November 10, 1934 in Farmington to Roscoe and Pauline (Murphy) Baxter. JoAnne first married George Voland and later married Jack Leary. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are her son, Mark (Lynn) Voland of Fairview.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, one daughter, GeorgAnne Voland-Buck; and one sister.
She retired from Peoria School District 150, where she worked as a secretary.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Burial of ashes will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Farmington.
