Emma, was the dau of Charles & Elizabeth "Lizzie" Laux. Emma married briefly and was divorced. She never married her sweetheart, Russell Swofford but they remain next to each other at Hillside. Emma had a beautiful voice, she sang in the May Festival every year in Cinti. She was a "telephone operator" & she owned her own home. Her mother d in 1938 at age 71 then, her father lived with her until his death in 1948 at age 83. They are also at Hillside.
