Marianne Lee Lawrence, 69, of 110 High St., Oil City, died at 6:05 pm, Saturday, June 14, 2014, at her home surrounded by family and friends. Born Jan. 26, 1945, in Claresholm, Alberta, Canada, she was a daughter of Alexander Clarence James Evans and the late Dolores May French Evans.

She retired from UPMC Northwest as a housekeeper. She was a member of the Pulaski Club, PNA and the Pulaski Pussycat Bowling League.

On Feb. 16, 1974, she married Paul Lee Lawrence, who died Jan. 6, 2009.

Surviving are a son, Stephen Vogus of Oil City; a daughter, Lori Harris and husband, Clark of Oil City; five grandchildren, Allison Lingo and husband, Matt of Titusville, Brittany Miller and husband, Steven of Oil City, Evan Ehrhart and wife, Kady of Franklin, Stephen Vogus and wife, Amy of Oil City and Jimmy Vogus of Oil City; nine great-grandchildren, Luke, Sam, Max, Jacob, Kaiden, Blake, Aaron, Amelia and Jimmy; two step-sons, Terry Lawrence and wife, Ann, and Ray Lawrence and wife, Paula, all of Ohio; three step-daughters, Chrissy Jones of North Carolina, Cathy Patrick and husband Mark, and Tina Rager and husband, Rich of Ohio; 11 step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; her father, "Clare" Evans and wife Donna of Alberta, Canada; one brother, Alex Evans and wife Twyla of Alberta, Canada; one sister, Sandi Clancy and husband Chris of Alberta, Canada; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Debbie McSparren, Katie Rex and Judy Witherup. Deceased are her mother; husband; a son, James "Jim" Vogus; and a sister, Lynn Boisvert.

Services will be at 11 am Wednesday at Morrison Funeral Home with Rev. T. Christopher Hill officiating. Interment will be in Shaw Farm Cemetery.
