Newspaper Obituary - Monday, September 11, 1961 Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Parish - George Henry Mason, 80, retired mason and husband of Mrs. Zana Wolfe Mason, died last night at the family home on the Dugway-Parish Road. A native of Palermo, son of the late Henry and Martha Mason, he is survived by his wife, five daughters, Mrs. Floyd Smith, Richland; Mrs. Chauncey Smith, Pulaski; Mrs. Raymond Ware, New Haven; Mrs. Ralph Maitland, Richland, and Mrs. Emory Akins, North Rose; two sons, Charles Mason, Orwell, and Earl Mason, Syracuse; three step-daughters, Mrs. Keith Morgan, Pulaski, Mrs. James Young and Mrs. Lloyd Ware, both of Parish; two step-sons, Kenneth McDonald, Potsdam, and Gerald McDonald, West Monroe; and 52 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Dugway Methodist Church, the Rev. James Thorness, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the family home tonight and Tuesday at their convenience. Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Harter Funeral Home.
