Born in Greenhall, Ky., April 14, 1894, the son of Wilson Newell and Mary Ann' Capps Whicker, he came to Hamilton as a young man. He served with the infantry during World War I.
Mr. Whicker was buried Tuesday in Dayton with full military rites.
