Eugene Whicker, 57, who resided in Hamilton for 35 years, died Sunday in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Dayton, following a lengthy illness. He had been an employee of the Champion Paper & Fiber Company for many years. He leaves one son, Raymond Whicker, and one granddaughter, Deborah Whicker; five b r o t h e r s , Richard Whicker, H a m i l t o n , James
Whicker, Mt. Washington, Ohio, Gideon Whicker, Wichita, Kan, and Robert and William Whicker, both of Greenhall, Ky.; one sister, Mrs. Lily Edwards, Columbus, Ind. Born in Greenhall, Ky., April 14, 1894, the son of Wilson Newell and Mary Ann' Capps Whicker, he came to Hamilton as a young man. He served with the infantry during World War I.
Mr. Whicker was buried Tuesday in Dayton with full military rites.
