Miss Julia Granger, Topekan Quarter Century, Dies At M.E. Home

Mrs. Julia Granger died at the Methodist Home for the Aged in Topeka on Thursday afternoon. She was born November 9, 1860 at Palerno, Kan., and lived in Kansas all her life. A resident of Topeka for twenty-five years, she came to the M.E. Home in June 1936.

She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Ida Hawley of Topeka, Mrs. John Adkins of Holly, Colo., and Mrs. Bess A. Haum of Nortonville, Kan.; two sons, Walter Stribling of Cummings, Kan., and George Greenlee of Minneapolis, Minn; twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Mulvane Chapel at the home with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the home from 1 to 3 o'clock.
