FRANKLIN ST. RESIDENT DIES AFTER STROKE Mrs. Maria Rosario Pisani Succumbs at Home of Daughter Mrs. Maria Rosario Greco Pisani, 83, widow' of Nicholas Pisani, died at 12:50 yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs, Samuel Mirarchi, 105 North Franklin Street. Mrs, Pisani succumbed exactly four days after she suffered a stroke at the Mirarchi home, Complications following the stroke were reported to have caused her death. Mrs. Pisani was born in Isca Bull Ionio, Calabria, Italy, May 8, 1856. She was married here to Nicholas Pisani, who died in Italy 38 years ago Mrs, Pisani joined a son in this country 32 years ago, settling in Shamokin. Later other children of Mrs. Pisani came to America and settled in Shamo kin, and the entire family has been located here for many years. She was a member of St. Edward's Church. Mrs. Pisani was widely known for her interest in her children and grandchildren, and was especially proud of two grandsons, Dr. Joseph Rovito and Samuel Rovito, who are now studying ip Rome, Italy. Surviving are seven children: Frank and Ralph PLani, Mrs. Charles Dominlanni, Mrs. Samuel Ssopelliti, Mrs. Joseph Rovito, Mrs. Samuel Scicchitano and Mrs, Sam uel Mirarchi, all of Shamokin, 55 granichildren, and 23 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 Saturday morning in St. Edward's Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery,
