Ralph Pisani, 63, Retired Rock Contractor, Dies in Hospital Ralph Pisani, 63, of 8 South Vine Street, retired miner and rock con tractor, died yesterday afternoon in Geisinger Hospital, Danville, from an illness which had its inception six months ago. Mr. Pisani was a patient in the hospital for the past two weeks. Ralph Pisani was born in Italv and came to the United States 45 years ago. He settled in Shamokin and secured work as a section hand with the Reading Railroad Company, and later worked as a miner at Marion Heights and at Cameron. Colliery. When he retired 16 years ago he as engaged as a rock contractor. Surviving are the widow, the former Miss Madallne Nestico, to whom Mr. Pisani was married .37 years ago; nine children, Sylvia, Mada-line and Clara, Philadelphia; Al- phonse, Baltimore; Private Guido, United States Army, Germany; Private Alfred. Camp Gordon, Ga.; Mrs. Fred Madden, Brady; Artello and Rose Mary, at home; a brother, rTanK, snamoKin, and five sisters. Mrs. Theresa Rovito, Philadelphia; Mrs. Kose Mirarchi. Mrs. Marv Scopellito, Mrs. Conchetta Domin ion and Mrs. Catherine Schicchi- tano, all of Shamokin. Mr. Pisani was a member of St. Edward Church. funeral services will be held Tuesday morning, becinnin? at HMO, in St. Edward Church. Burial will be in St. Edward Cemetery.
