According to the U.S. Census, he was a farmer, residing in Granville, Putnam County, Illinois, between 1860 and 1870. He died before 11 June 1880, in Utica, La Salle County, Illinois.

Gravesite Details

Large marble tablet style gravestone, weathered, with crack on face, and areas covered with grey lichen and a dark biofilm. It is the sole gravestone in the cemetery not displaced from the gravesite. Observed June 21, 2023
