Warren A. Kuhn of Coatesville

Warren A. Kuhn, 81, passed away on June 11, 2014, at the VA Medical Center Garden of Grace Hospice Unit, Coatesville. Warren was the loving husband to Marie Bernard Kuhn and they shared 60 years of marriage.

Born on July 7, 1932 in Coatesville, he was the son of Dorothy Coates Kuhn and the late Marlin Kuhn.

Warren was a graduate of Scott High School in Coatesville, class of 1950.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and he worked in production control for Lukens Steel Co. for 35 years. He was also a past president of the Lukens Veterans Guild and served as a mill tour guide for the company. He was the secretary/treasurer for West Brandywine Township for 35 years.

In addition to his wife and mother, Warren is survived by sons, Gregg Kuhn of Coatesville, Kerry (Becky) Kuhn of Oley, and Eric (Ellen) Kuhn of Honey Brook; eight grandchildren; and four brothers, Glenn Kuhn, Vincent Kuhn, Raymond Kuhn, and Charles Kuhn, all from Coatesville.

Warren was a loving and devoted family man. He was a member of Hibernia United Methodist Church and enjoyed the Methodist Men's Group. He lived his life in service to the Lord by instilling his faith in his children and grandchildren and allowing the Holy Spirit to shine forth through his beautiful smile. Warren would express his faith by proclaiming, "The Lord is on our side."

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 17th, at the Hibernia United Methodist Church, 220 Hibernia Road, Coatesville, with a time of visitation from 10 a.m. until the service time at the church.

Following the service, interment will be held at The Forks of the Brandywine Cemetery, Glenmoore.

In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Hibernia United Methodist Church 220 Hibernia Road, Coatesville, PA 19320. Arrangements by the Maclean-Chamberlain Funeral Home Inc. 610-384-7191.
