Forrest Lawrence, 60, of LaMesa, California, a native of Lee Twp., died Friday evening in a hospital at LaMesa. He had been an invalid several years, suffering from a heart condition. Born June 9, 1902, near Harlem Springs, Mr. Lawrence was a son of the late Richard and Olive (Fawcett) Lawrence. He had resided in California about 10 years. Mr. Lawrence was a member of First Methodist Church, Carrollton.
He was married to the former Wilma Denny, who survives with one son, William F. of Canton; one brother, Arthur R. of Rt. 4, Carrollton, and two grandchildren. One brother is deceased. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Allmon Funeral Home here with Rev. C. E. Achberger officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery, Carrollton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
