Emma Kucera, age 86 of Daisytown, PA died Sunday July 4, 2004 in the Mon Valley Hospital. She was born August 3, 1917 in Crescent Heights, PA a daughter of Alex and Julia Boyza Brenzovics. A homemaker, Mrs. Kucera was a member of the St. Mary's R.C.Church, Daisytown. She was a life member of the Daisytown Hungarian Club. Mrs. Kucera enjoyed gardening and bingo. On May 26, 1934 she married Louis S. Kucera who died December 4, 1995. Surviving is a daughter - Shirley Tiernan of Daisytown, PA; 2 Sons - Ronald F. Kucera of Augusta, Georgia and Louis A. Kucera of Canonsburg, PA; 1 Sister - Julia Mauro of Flint, MI; 10 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; 6 Great Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband is 3 Sisters - Elizabeth Konick, Margaret DeGhetto, Ethel Adams; 1 Brother - Alex Brenzovics.
Friends will be received from 2 to 9pm Wednesday in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA where a Blessing Service will be held at 11:00am Thursday July 8, 2004 with Rev. Francis Jurewicz as celebrant. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Coal Center, PA.
