Mary J. Standardi, 91, formerly of Weirton, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2005 in Murrieta, California. She was born February 26, 1914 in Mingo Junction, Ohio, a daughter of the late Michael and Anna Krizan Fabian. She was preceded in death by her husband Pasquale "Patsy" Standardi in 1993; brother Joseph Fabian and three sisters Helen Adametz, Sister Mary Constantine and Agnes Buccalo.

As a resident of Weirton, Mary was a homemaker, a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and St. Joseph's Christian Mothers and Catholic Daughters.

Mary is survived by her son Pat Standardi of Temecula, CA; daughter Carol Standardi of Ann Arbor, MI; three brothers Father Cyril Fabian of Winona, MN, Peter Fabian of Mingo Junction, OH and Father John Fabian of San Diego, CA; two sisters Katherine Taggart of Steubenville, OH and Margaret Everett of La Crescenta, CA; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 12PM Friday at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
