Schick, John W. Age 70. March 18, 2014.
Beloved son of the late John and Catherine. Loving brother of Timothy, Doris, Deborah and brother in law of Cha. Dear friend of Kenneth Riley. Also survived by many loving cousins. He was born with a gift of laughter, a sense of the absurd and a need to give to those he loved. John was a longtime employee of United Airlines, a job he truly loved. He will be remembered for his love of Bob-Lo, horseback riding, travel and ships and so much more, but most of all for his love of his family, generosity and wild sense of humor. He is much loved and deeply missed. Memorial visitation Sunday 1 p.m. until the time of scripture service at 6 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Rd. (4 blks. E of Woodward), Royal Oak. A memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 10 am at St. Germaine Catholic Church (Little Mack at Martin), St. Clair Shores. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Detroit.
