He was the son of William J. Wood and Teresa Todd. Surviving are his parents of West Columbia; two brothers: Jeremy Wood of West Columbia and Reed Todd of Charlotte, NC; and his fiancée: Jocelyn Veit.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 12, 2014 in the Woodridge Memorial Park Gazebo, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC 29072. Reverend Mark Bredholt officiated. Burial followed in Woodridge Memorial Park.
NOTE: Jason Wood of Columbia died at the scene Monday evening, June 9, 2014, after he lost control of his motorcycle on I-126 and struck a vehicle. He then landed in the westbound side of the Interstate and was struck by multiple vehicles.
