Mrs. Walter Kapp, the former Lena Harke, 80, of 527 Metomen St., Ripon, died at the Parkview Nursing Home, Ripon at 8:15 a.m. Sunday after an illness of nine months.

Born at Neshkoro Aug. 7, 1890, she was the daughter of Henry and Augusta Behnke Harke. She was educated in Marquette County, and lived most of her life in Richford and the last three years in Ripon. She was married June 17, 1914 to Walter Kapp.’

Mrs. Kapp is survived by three sons, Elmer of Princeton, Wilfred of Berlin and Edwin of Fond du Lac, two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Sauer and Mrs. Keith Walker, both of Ripon; three brothers, Edward Harke of Coloma, Fred Harke of Brillion and Albert Harke of **bert; three sisters, Mrs. Herman Lehman of Wautoma, Mrs. Walter Briese of Ripon, and Mrs. Harold Ferch of Milwaukee; and 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church at Richford with Pastor Bruce Lundbert of Richford officiating. Burial will be in the Richford Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3 to 9 pm. Tuesday at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon and after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
