Funeral services for Georgia V. May, 85, of Kilgore will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, January 23, 2006, at the First Church of the Nazarene in Kilgore with Reverend Mark Hendrix officiating. Interment will follow at Kilgore Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore.

Mrs. May was born July 9, 1920, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and longtime member of the First Church of the Nazarene where she was a Sunday school teacher for 52 years.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy A. and Marilyn May of Mansfield, Richard V. and Sandy May of White Oak; one daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and John Earhart of Louisville, Ohio; one sister, Cora Merkle of Claremore, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Tad May and wife Janet of Hurst , Marty May and wife Shamie of Lake Charles, LA, Trent May of Lindsborg, Kansas, Andee Hanson and husband Dan of Louisville, Ohio, Amanda Roling and husband Casey of White Oak, and Greg May of Kilgore, and six great grandchildren, Josh May and Allie May, Mac and Marlee Hanson and Addie and Carson Roling, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. May was preceded in death by her husband, Allen G. May, and mother, Vanda Wills Hamilton.

The family will receive friends from 6-8, Sunday, January 22, 2006 at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene, 309 East Sabine St. Kilgore, Tx 75662, or Greater Hospice of Texas.
