Oscar A. Hedrich, 87, of 2512 N. 89th Street, Wauwatosa, formerly of Brillion, died Monday, Sept. 6, at the home of his daughter.

He was born June 13, 1895, in the town of Rantoul, son of the late Oscar and Elizabeth Brandes Hedrich.
On November 16, 1921 he married Ida Anna Schaefer at Rantoul. Mrs. Hedrich died May 31, 1982. The couple farmed in the town of Rantoul until 1948 when they moved to Brillion. He was employed at the Calumet Dutch Canning Co. there until his retirement. The couple moved to Wauwatosa in June, 1980.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. James (Janet) Schnell of Wauwatosa; one son, Oscar of Brillion; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and one brother, Eldred of Fond du Lac. Six sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.

Funeral services were at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul. The Rev. Ferdinand Timler, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the Brillion Community Cemetery.
