Nancy W. Nelms, 88, of West Chester, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014.
She was the wife of Melvin "Mick" Nelms, with whom she shared 65 years of marriage.
Born in Millville, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Arthur W. and Ardis Flyte Wetherby.
She retired as a tipstaff at Chester County Courthouse after 21 years of service.
In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by her daughter, Vicki Manuel (Lewis); son, Tom; grandchildren, Ryan (Courtney) and Kellie (JC) Capote; and four great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11, at First Presbyterian Church, 130 W. Miner St., West Chester, where the family will receive guests starting at 10:30 a.m.
Interment will be in Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer.
