Mrs. Erma Ward's birthday was celebrated, when Mr. and Mrs. Allan Ward entertained the following guests recently at a picnic supper, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Eddy, Mrs. Viola Suttor, Miss Ruth Bigelow and Miss Lillian Ward.

MRS. WALTER WARD
LAKEVILLE — Mrs. Walter (Erma) Ward, 79, died Monday April 10, in Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a long illness.
She was born in Groveland July 29, 1881, a daughter of Orin and Jennie Hendershott Johnson. Mrs. Ward, who had resided in the Lakeville area for many years, was a member of the Lakeville Community Church, the Women's Fellowship and Philathea Class of the church, the Lakeville Home Extension Service and the Livonia Grange.
She leaves a son, Allen Ward of Lakeville; a daughter, Miss Lillian Ward, with whom she lived; a brother Cordia Johnson of Batavia, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Lakeville Community Church. The Rev. Robert Hathaway will officiate. Burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Geneseo.
