Mae Luna Robinson, 88, of Sparta, Tennessee passed away October 7, 2003.
Robinson was born July 28, 1915, in DeKalb County, to the late Charlie D. Luna and
Lela Jane Steele Luna.
She had been a homemaker.
Robinson was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Savage Robinson; three sons, Gene Robinson, Hebron Robinson and David Robinson; son-in-law,
James Holman; sister, Ann Turner; and three brothers, Ernest Luna, Monroe Luna and
Reed Luna.
Survivors include three daughters -
Ruby F. Holman, Rose Brown, Thelma Spears and husband Guan; one son, Douglas Robinson and wife, Naomi, [of Tunnel Hill, Georgia]; two daughters-in-law, Rosell Robinson, and
Bessie Robinson, [of Gainesboro]; four sisters, Virgie Lewis, Ruby Turner, Betty Stacy and Pearl Turner; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Services will be October 9, 2003, at Johnson Chapel Baptist Church with burial in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. David Lee England, James Rittenberry and Jamie Spears will officiate.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
