Mrs. Margaret Riblet Shull, relict of the late Charles J Shull, died Friday afternoon at about 5:20 o'clock at her home, 86 East Fourth Street, of heart and stomach trouble. Her maiden name was Margaret Riblet and she was born in Union county, Pennsylvania Sept. 19, 1819. When she was about 10 years of age, she came with her parents, Squire Daniel Riblet and wife, to this county. Squire Riblet was one of the early politicians in this county and served in the general assembly of the state first in 1842 and 1843 in the lower house , where he served two terms and later he was elected to two terms in the upper house. Mrs. Shull, then Miss Riblet was married in 1839 in Sandusky township to Charles J Shull, whom she survived some years. To them were born 15 children, the following who survive: Mrs. Charlotte McConnell, Frank and Byron Shull of Philadelphia, and Misses Catherine, Mary and Flora of this city. Mrs. Shull was an earnest and faithful member of the First Lutheran Church for 61 years. Funeral services at her late home on East Fourth St., Monday at 2 o'clock conducted by the Rev. Dr. H.L. Wiles assisted by the Rev. Dr. D.J. Meese, and the Rev. A.B. Putnam. Friends and family are invited to the services but interment will be private.
