Sarah's maiden name is found on the 19 Mar 1918 Gainesville, Cooke Co., TX death certificate of their son, James Andrew Womack.

The 1841 Tippah Co., MS State and Territorial census, lists in a row:

N. C. Womack (Newton C. Womack) {and Sarah Watson}
William Rowlett {and Rebecca Watson}

Also in Tippiah Co., MS, and I'm certain the cursive "C" looked like an "E" when the deed book was transcribed:
