San Antonio, TX - Theresa "Sassy" "Terry" Parker Chase was born in Lewiston, Maine on October 5, 1922 to Grace Howe Parker and Percy Russell Parker. Theresa passed away in San Antonio, Texas on June 4, 2014.
After the death of her husband Russell Chase in 2004, Theresa moved to San Antonio, Texas to be with her family. She enjoyed watching her great-grandsons grow up and attending their various school and sports events. She was always ready for a game of cribbage and while living in San Antonio became well known for her "Sassy-ness."
Theresa was predeceased by her parents, Grace and Percy Parker; her brother, Philip Parker; her son, Michael Chase; her son-in-law Ronald Given; and her husband Russell Chase.
Survivors include her daughter Margo Given; grandsons Brent and wife Cece Given, and Brian and wife Tami Given. In addition she leaves four great-grandsons Blake, Cord, Parker and Noah Given as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her family wishes to thank her caregivers at Stone Oak Care Center and Gentiva (formerly Odyssey) Hospice for the wonderful and loving care she has received.
