Ruth I. Leber, 92, passed away at her home in Spring Garden Twp, Saturday, January 21, 2006. She was the wife of the late Edgar A. Leber. Born October 18, 1913, in Red Lion, she was the daughter of the late John and Effie (Zarfoss) Reachard. Mrs. Leber was a member of Zion UCC. She was a seamstress at Klinemyers Shirt Factory and Doespun Sewing Factory. She is survived by two daughters, Joan K. Epley and Jill M. Markley, both of York; a brother, Carl Reachard of York; four grandchildren, Robert Epley, Barry Epley, Cynthia Berchtold, and David Markley; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Wednesday at John Keffer Funeral Home & Crematory, York, Rev. Robert Anderson officiating. Burial in Mt. Rose Cemetery. [York Daily Record]
