William Raymond Diffie, 78 of Tucson, AZ., died March 27, 2000. Born in Beaton, AR. on March 26, 1922. Served active duty, U.S. Navy during W.W.II. Retired from the Operating Engineers (#428)after working 31 years for Ashton Company, Inc. A member of I.O.O.F. and Masons. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Evelyn, two sons, Randall and Lawrence, 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, his older brother Hurchel and sister Novella. Graveside services will be held at 11 am, April 8, 2000 at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery 719 N. 27th Ave.
