She was born in Point Cedar, Arkansas on February 13, 1920 and ended up in Phoenix in 1955. Her funeral services will be held Thursday March 17, 2011 at 2pm at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 719 N. 27th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85009 where she will be laid to rest along side her husband Herman Griffin.
