Mrs. Flora Best, 72, former resident of Dover, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L.R. Caldwell in Long Beach, Calif., Friday, according to word received in Topeka. Mrs. Best resided in the vicinity of Dover about 50 years, coming there from a farm in Wabaunsee county. She left for California about three years ago.

She is survived by 10 children, Mrs. Caldwell and Mrs. Andrew Livingston, Long Beach; Mrs. A.W. Lindsay, Mrs. Archie Wyllie, Mrs. Thomas Sage, T.L. Best and A.F. Best, Dover; R.J. Best, George Best, and J.A. Best, Topeka.

The body will be brought to Topeka for burial. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
