Jean (Harvey) Bowman, 78, of Duncan, SC, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014.
Daughter of the late Smiley James and Leona (Anders) Harvey, she was the wife of Ronald Lamar Bowman.
She was a member of Mount Calvary Christian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Tina Smith of Rutherfordton, NC; a brother Delvis Harvey of Greer; a sister Juanita Davis of Greenville; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Bishop of Spartanburg, Vanessa Addington of Duncan, Daniel Waddell of Spartanburg; six great-grandchildren Braydon, Nathan, Austin, Sierra and Eli Bishop, and Emilie Addington.
She was predeceased by five brothers, Ott, Smiley James Jr., Charlie, Ernest, and Guy Harvey; two sisters, Elizabeth Newman, and Marion Brannon.
Services were held Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the Stribling Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Fort Prince Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends 2:00-3:00 PM prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to Mount Calvary Christian Church, 1341 Nazareth Church Road Spartanburg, SC 29301.
