Conway, SC.. Donald Todd, age 69, passed away at his residence June 5, 2014 with his loving wife at his side. Mr. Todd was born in Horry County a son of the late Willie Thelbert Todd and Martha J. Gore Todd. Mr. Todd was an Insurance Salesman for many years prior to his retirement and was affectionately known as the "MAYOR" of the Shell Community. In addition to his parents, Mr. Todd was predeceased by his siblings; Shelton Todd, Billy Wayne Todd, Lonnie Todd, Houston Todd, and Ella Mae Todd. Survivors include: his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Joyce Martin Todd; his son, Joseph Todd and his wife Jocelyn of Conway, two daughters, Sharon Todd and her husband Mark of Aynor, Shellie Mire of Myrtle Beach and her husband David; 8 grandchildren, Jeremy and Jarod Todd, Timothy Causey and his wife Kellie, Natalie and Sean Todd, Mackenzie Todd, Brice and Ethan Mire; his siblings, James Carl Todd and Bonnie Faye Todd, both of Conway and Marilyn C. Grainger of Loris. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Kinlaw and Reverend Mack Hutson officiating. Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery.
