By 1920 they were divorced. At the time of the 1930 census in Penryn, their two sons, Charles and Bee, were living with their father in Penryn where he worked as a fruit farmer. Per his obituary and subsequent article, Bee died of tuberculosis and heart disease. He was a resident of Roseville and survived by his sister Mabel and brothers Samuel and George. No mention of his sons, although Charles lived to 2002 and Bee (going by Henry) lived to 1998.
