Kevin Conway of Barrington The Mass of Christian Burial for Kevin Conway, 16, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at St. Anne Church, corner of Franklin and Ela streets, Barrington. Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. today, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St., (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington. Sixteen years was not enough time for the vibrant, fun, engaging young man that was tragically taken from us. Kevin had fun just about every day of his short life. He played in the creek and caught frogs. He played night games. He played soccer, football, lacrosse, frisbee, Halo and hackey sack. He loved tubing, bonfires and the lake house. He played baseball and his bass guitar He was just discovering the fun of rock concerts and the theatre. He loved music, he loved his friends. Kevin loved his family, and he loved life. He cut bagels, but rarely cut class. He made everyone he met smile or laugh. He lit up a room somewhere everyday. He was often a class clown and a good student when it suited him. He was the typical big and little brother. It seems that everyone he touched liked him instantly. He had that gift. Remembering all the great things about Kevin are his loving parents, Pat and Dan; his siblings, Sean, Megan and Jack; his grandparents, Chuck, Jo, Jack and Ceec; as well as 19 aunts and uncles; 32 cousins; dozens of teammates; and countless friends. "We love you Kevin." In lieu of flowers, to remember Kevin, help the other children who will play and have fun in Barrington by supporting Friends of The Stadium Fund, c/o Barrington Bank & Trust, 201 South Hough St., Barrington, IL 60010.
