William Victor May, 84, of Raccoon passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the Pikeville Medical Center of Pikeville, KY.
He was born February 13, 1930 in Pike County, KY to the late Epp and Roxie "Smith" May. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Coleman May.
Victor is survived by his sons: William Michael (Melissa) May of Shelbiana, KY, Allen (Wilma) May of Frankfort, KY, Lonnie Richard (Kimberly) May of Louisville, KY, Buddy Dean (Carolyn) May of Mount Sterling, KY, and Bobby (Nolita) Coleman of Pikeville, KY; daughters: Rita (Harold) Meyer of Louisville, KY Debbie May Kinney of Olive Hill, Tina (Ricky) Tackett of Pikeville; 10 grandchildren & 19 great-grandchildren; brothers: Jay, George & Roger May, one sister: Sue Hall.
He is a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family will accept friends at the Thacker Memorial Chapel Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 6PM and Friday, June 6, services beginning at 7PM with Tommy England, Jimmy Jack Adkins & Jimmy Reed Adkins officiating. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 12 Noon. Interment will follow at the Annie E. Young Cemetery on Chloe Rd.
