Obituary -

Mrs. Margaret Kniffin -

At South Albany, Mrs. Margaret Kniffin, aged 85 years, widow of the late George Kniffin. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. E.E. Locke. The deceased was faithful and consistent member of the Baptist church in this place, also a valued member of our Aid Society, to whose calls she was ever ready to respond. Her knowledge of the scriptures was comprehensive and she tried to live up to their precepts. She leaves one son, Enoch, at whose home she lived and died; also one sister, Mr. Wm. McNayr, of Springfield; and two brothers, Mr. Henry Merry and Mr. Tupper Merry, both residents of New Albany.
