Mrs. Louise Johansen of San Rafael died last Friday night in St. Luke's Hospital in San Francisco following a long illness complicated by a fall.
Born in San Francisco, Mrs. Johansen spent her early childhood in Santa Rosa, coming to San Rafael in 1891 where she resided until the time of her death.
She was the wife of Ludwig Johansen; and the mother of Louise Johansen, Mrs. James Rogers, Mrs. J.E. Lane, Mrs. F. Kurtz, Fred L. Johansen, and the sister of Mrs. Eugene Smith, the wife of the Clerk of San Rafael, and Edward DeMetz.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon from the Presbyterian Church in San Rafael of which she was a member. Interment was in Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery.
