Wm. R. Gordon Dead.

The many friends of William Richardson Gordon will learn with regret of his death at 6 o'clock this morning at Shreveport where he, with Mrs. Gordon, was visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. T. Whited.

Deceased was born in Ouachita parish August 3, 1878, and was a life-long resident of this community where he has a host of friends by whom he was always held in the highest esteem. For a number of years he has been prominent in real estate circles, being a member of the firm Easterling and Gordon.

Mr. Gordon is survived by his wife, who was Miss Lillie McLain, to whom he was married January 19, 1910, is parents and two half sisters to whom the News-Star extends sympathy.

The remains will arrive over the V. S. and P. at 8:50 o'clock tomorrow morning, proceeding at once to the City Cemetery, where services will be held.

Mr. Gordon was a prominent Mason and Western Star Lodge No. 24, F. and A. M., will have charge of the funeral. A special communion of the lodge being called to meet at 8 o'clock Sunday morning.
