Clinton Aloyse (Cabby) Berry, III of Nashville, TN, 69, formerly of Owensboro, KY died on May 22, 2014. Clinton was born to C. A. and Frances Ruth Berry on May 31, 1944 at Jackson Infirmary in Jackson, MS. He was a graduate of Owensboro Catholic High School where he played golf and basketball. He attended and graduated from Mississippi State University on a golf scholarship. Clinton earned his Masters of Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University. He was retired from the Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development, Energy Division. Clinton was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War earning the Bronze Star Medal. He is survived by one son, , one grandson, one sister, and one brother, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends in Tennessee. A memorial service will be held in Nashville, TN on Wednesday, June 4 at Christ the King Catholic Church, West Wing Parish Hall, 3001 Belmont Boulevard. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., service at 2:00 p.m. A memorial service and funeral will be held in Owensboro, KY on June 7 at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 4029 Frederica Street. Visitation at the church from 11:00 a.m. to 12: 00 p.m., funeral following at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place immediately following the funeral at the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery in Owensboro. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 1302 Frederica Street, Owensboro, KY 42301 or Owensboro Catholic High School, 1524 W. Parrish Avenue, Owensboro, KY 42301.
