Mildred M. Maymon, 88, Byrneville, died Saturday, May 24, 2014.

Born Aug. 21, 1925, at English, she was the daughter of the late James Clive and Robbie Leona Wood Parr.

She was a homemaker and a member of Byrneville Community of Christ Church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Parr, and a sister, Martha Bowman.

Survivors include her husband, Harlan R. Maymon; three sons: David W. Maymon of Marysville, Donald F. Maymon of South Portland, Maine, and Bobby R. Maymon of Marengo; a sister, Ruth Rufener of Trotwood, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Tuesday, May 27, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, May 28, after 9 a.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.

Funeral: Wednesday, May 28, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Byrneville Cemetery.

Officiants: Elders Bill Raine and Don Hileman.

The family suggests memorial gifts to Glenn Wood Hills Camp & Retreat Center, Derby, Ind., c/o Barbara Weathers, 985 Youngs Creek Drive, Franklin, IN 46131-7182 or Gentiva Hospice, 391 Quartermaster Court, Jeffersonville, IN 47130.
