Harlan Ray Maymon, age 93, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018. Harlan was born November 8, 1925 at Byrneville to the late Virgil E. and Emma Myrtle Fouts Maymon.
He was an Army Veteran of WW II, retired from Pillsbury, New Albany, and a member of V. F. W. Post No. 2950, Corydon, the American Legion Post No. 332, Milltown, IN, an Elder and member of Community of Christ Church, Byrneville.
Also, preceding him in death were his wife, Mildred M. Parr Maymon: Brothers; E. Leroy and Robert M. Maymon: Sister; Irma L. Finn.
Surviving are sons: Bobbie R. Maymon, Georgetown, IN; Donald F. Maymon (Jamie) of Brooksville, FL; David W. Maymon (Lori) of New Albany, IN; brother: Irvin L. Maymon of Pittsboro, IN; sister: Doris Byrne of New Albany, IN; 9 grandchildren 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral 1 P.M. Tuesday, December 11, 2018 with burial in Byrneville Cemetery. Visitation 2 – 8 P.M. Monday and after 10 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
