Ingham County News, Thursday, May 2, 1957: Emery H Collier, 72 of Leslie,died Tuesday (Apr 30) at the County Hospital at Okemos. He was born May 6, 1885 in White Oak Twp to John and Lavina Collier. Sept 22, 1935, Emery Collier and Lillian Josslyn were married. They lived for several years on a farm East of Dansville. Six years ago,they moved to Leslie. Survivors include the widow at Leslie, a daughter Mrs. Kaneatha McConnell of Laingsburg, a niece Mrs. Mary Sullivan of Detroit, a nephew Leslie Porter of Detroit, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday (May 3) at 2:00 pm at Vogt Funeral Home in Dansville, with Rev. Samuel B Wenger officating. Burial will be in North Stockbridge Cemetery.
