Susan was born about 1796 in Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of John Bolin, Jr. and Mary Groscost (c. 1771-c. 1800), his first wife.
Susan married Joseph Weaver, Sr., on February 28, 1813 in Adams County, Pennsylvania, and became the mother of 11 children.
