Son of Francis Rockwell and Sarah Ann Swezey, husband of Catherine M. and father of Edith May (married Frank Arnold, married Harold Leslie Jones), William Anthony, Charles Francis, Howard J., and Stephen Rockwell.

Obituary - Charles F. Rockwell, Sr., died last night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Arnold, in Bayport. He was taken suddenly ill last Saturday morning and his many friends have been inquiring anxiously for all him all this week.

Mr. Rockwell was born in Patchogue more than 80 years ago and for many years he was a bayman. For the past 16 years he had made his home with his daughter. He also leaves four sons, William and Stephen, of Patchogue, Charles of Bay Shore, and Howard Rockwell, of New York. He is survived by two brothers, Jacob and Frank Rockwell, both of Patchogue, and by 14 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday morning. Following a brief service at the Isaacson Funeral Home in Sayville, a Solemn Requiem Mass will be said at Our Lady of the Snow R.C. Church in Blue Point at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in the Catholic Cemetery in Patchogue.
