MORROW BERTHA N. (Nee ZADO) 94, of Traverse City, formerly of Eastpointe, died Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Munson Medical Center. Bertha was born August 29, 1916 in Detroit, the daughter of August and Efrosina (Neumann) Zado. In 1938 she married Harold Foerster who preceded her in death in 1957. In 1965 she married Robert Morrow who preceded her in death in 1986. Bertha was always very active in St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Eastpointe and senior citizens programs. She and Bob traveled extensively and loved playing cards and entertaining friends. She was a lady of faith who deeply loved her family and treasured spending all the time she could with them. Bertha is survived by her three sons, Lee (Jill) Foerster, Jim (Ann) Foerster, Tom (Diane) Foerster; a step son, George (Alice) Morrow; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Art Zado, Frieda Kesel and a granddaughter, Dawn. Friends may gather on Saturday, April 16 from 11:30 a.m. until the start of the Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Eastpointe. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery. The Rev. Mark J. Haller will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Peters Lutheran Church, 23000 Gratiot Ave, Eastpointe, MI.
