A VETERAN OF THE CIVIL WAR DIED IN CORNING, N. Y., YESTERDAY.
Corning, N. Y., March. 16.—William H. Horton, who served during the civil war in Company I., 86th New York Volunteers, died this morning at the age of seventy-two years at his home, 18 Winfield street. He belonged to Rathbun post, G.A. R.
Besides his widow he leaves three sons, Irwin J., Dwaine S., Fred, W. and a daughter, Lena M. all living at home. Two brothers, Theodore, of Campbell, and Jacob, of Joneville, Mich: and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Mack, of this city, and Mrs. Mary Dempsey, of Hornell, also survive.
