He was born January 3, 1914, in East Chicago, Indiana, a son of the late John and Anna Kazerda Toth.
On May 25, 1941, he and Ida Ness were married in Milwaukee. Mrs. Toth died in December 1975.
He started the Toth Nursing Home in East De Pere and later moved to Chilton, where he founded the Toth Nursing Home, with later became Chilton Village.
Mr. Toth was a member of the Chilton Kiwanis Club, the Chilton Rotary Club, the Chilton Chamber of Commerce, and the VFW.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Floyd (Barbara) Paape of Belgium and Mrs. Leonardo (Lois) Pruitt of Chilton; two step-daughters, Mrs. Robert (Frieda) Paape of De Pere and Mrs. Verne (Alice) Heuzelmans of De Pere; 21 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Davis of Port Lauderdale, Florida, Mrs. Margaret Demes of Green Bay and Mrs. Elizabeth Rowland of Chilton; and two brothers, John Toth of New Holstein and Steve Toth, new Brunswick, New Jersey. He was preceded in death by a brother.
Funeral services were held at Wieting Funeral Home, Chilton, with the Rev. Quentin Moeschberger, pastor of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial was at Hillside Cemetery.
