She and her husband have operated the Toth Nursing Home, Chilton, for the past 11 years. They formerly operated the Toth Nursing Home, DePere, from 1960 – 67.
The former Ida Ness, she was born in Green Bay on Feb. 4, 1914 the daughter of Willy and Mary Kaye Ness. On May 25, 1943, she married Mr. Toth in Milwaukee. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary at Chilton and the Wisconsin Nursing Home Association.
Survivors are her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Vernon (Alice) Heuvelmans and Mrs. Robert (Frieda) Paape, both of DePere, Mrs. Floyd (Barbara) Paape of Belgium, and Mrs. Leonardo (Lois) Pruitt of Chilton; 20 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; two brothers, Melvin of Oneida and Elmer of Green Bay; six half-brothers, Clyde Ness of Kaukauna, Gordon, Glen, Cletus and Neil all of Suamico, and Lester of Howard; six half-sisters, Mrs. Herbert La Count of Little Suamico, Mrs. Blanche Pingel of Kaukauna, Mrs. Nathalie Absher of California, Mrs. Vernon Seteuwer of Bonduel, Mrs. William McGree of Menomonee Falls, and Mrs. James Tuttle of Suamico. A sister, half-brother and a grandchild preceded her in death.
Funeral services were at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Chilton. The Rev. Quentin Moeschberger, pastor of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, Chilton, officiated. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery. Chilton.
