Paula became ill at Chilton High School and was dead on arrival at Calumet Memorial Hospital on Tuesday at 9:20 a.m. She had been ill since January of 1971.
Paula was born in Sheboygan Memorial Hospital on September 14, 1955. She attended New Holstein public school until the third grade and then entered the Chilton public school system.
She was starting her junior year at Chilton High. Paula was active on the Hillcrest staff, student council, forensics, girls athletic association, band and was a cheerleader. Her sophomore years she was on the court of honor for the Sweetheart Hop.
Survivors besides her parents include one sister, Jenifer at home, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G. D. Owens, Sarasota, Florida and paternal grandparent, Mrs. William Lutz, Sheboygan.
